Masturbation Has No Effect on Penis Size

There has been a debate for decades over whether or not excessive masturbation among pubescent teen boys can reduce the overall size of the penis in adulthood. The concern has been that too much masturbation damages the underlying tissue and does not allow it to grow larger as a boy goes through puberty. Some have extended that concern to adult men, suggesting that excessive masturbation could actually reduce the size of the male member. Scientifically speaking, both concerns are unjustified.
